A small town girl from Iowa, Lori quickly discovered her love of music in grade school.  Dreaming of a career in music, Lori graduated high school and arrived at the University of Miami as one of the first students to join UM's new Studio Music/Jazz Vocal program.

After gigging around the Miami area through-out her college years, she took a leap of faith and moved to New York City where she immediately started doing club dates, jingles and voice-overs.  Lori was heard singing on many national commercials, like Sherwin Williams, Red Lobster, Mennen, and many others.

After about 18 years in the music biz, Lori hung it up and went corporate.  Yep, she went corporate.   As a combo right brain/left brain person, Lori found it stimulating and has been very successful.   Eventually music would come calling again.  So she dusted off her charts and her vocal chords and started doing some trio work in Manhattan.  

​

But, Lori's love was always recording in the studio.  When the pandemic hit, Lori was determined to set up her own vocal studio and embark on a new music project.  With the help of her long-time friend, musician Graham Hawthorne,  Lori started recording again.  And here we are!
